Future Player Profile: Pedro Leon

Milan fans that actively follows the club's progress would surely knows this name, Pedro Leon, Spanish young football player that has been heavily linked with the Italian giant this last few months. Although he hasn't been official confirmed but Milan fans could pretty much be positive  about this as the insider source believe that the transfer is already at the final stage with the negotiation is at an advanced stage that would see the Getafe midfielder sign for the Rossoneri next summer.

With the transfer fee being involved around 8 million , surely this is the kind of transfers that Milan's tight budget policy would be having no problem in securing. However, the wait might be a bit longer for Milanisti as the latest news also suggested that he it would probably be done right after the Spanish competition finish as the Getafe side would surely want Leon to keep his focus on the remaining two games to get the club reaching their target for the season. It won't be such a problem though, as despite making any kind of deal it will only go through on July this year right after the summer transfer market opens on July 1.

In getting to know more about the talented Spanish midfield, I would share a bit about the talented winger/midfielder. Leon was born on November 24, 1986 in Mula, Murcia , Spain and started his youth career at two local clubs Muleno (200-2002) also Nueva Vanguardia (2003-04) before attracting Real Murcia squad that sign him to play for the B team. Leon started to enter the team's senior team in 2005 to 2007 where he managed to score 10 goals from 68 games, before playing in Getafe in 2009 the 23-years-old talent had some spells at Levante and Valladolid. 

Although he has just recently join Getafe  but his amazing contribution and display has managed to caught many eyes including Milan, with the free release clause of 10 Million the chance to grab him instantly next summer surely is something that big and financially secure team would easily done. This season Leon has played scored around 5 goals and played an important part in the Getafe team, the talented player strength is his pace, skills and also a dead ball specialist, often played as a right winger but Leon can also drift from right to left which surely makes him a plus for Milan. The fact that he really has an excellent speed, would help Milan a lot on the counter as this season the Red n Black squad rely only on Pato for this kind's of attack.

Despite many doubts about Spanish players ability to adapt in Serie A as many previous names such as Jose Mari, Farinos, Javi Moreno doesn't seem to shine might be a catch as two of the three names actually played for the Rossoneri. However, football this days has developed into a more wide base with many new players possessed the skill to play in different kind of league and set up, the key part would be the players mentality and adaptation to the culture, coach and the team he's playing in.


So it depends on the relation between Leon and Milan (if he does come), Milan fans won't have to worry as anything is possible, from some review by fans, football experts Leon seems to have all the technical abilities to do well in San Siro. So it will be up to the Milan coach, staffs and teammates to help him adapt in Italy, this kind of deal is something that many Milan fans are waiting as the talented player could well be another steal such as Kaka and Thiago Silva few years back.
